Mankwe Campsite

Overlooking the bush and Mopani forest, Mankwe’s campsites offer the intrepid self-drive camper with bush campsites that are equipped with bucket shower, flush toilet, and wash basin. Water is provided for campers, but this is not drinking water (please bring your own supply).

Water can be heated on the fire for a hot shower. Each campsite is provided with firewood on the first night and additional firewood is available to purchase at the main lodge.

All campers must report to the main lodge reception for check in. Campsites can only be accessed in 4×4 vehicles as the roads in the area are very sandy.

Accommodation

6 campsites with own parking, ablution and firepit for your own boma fire
Each campsite can accommodate a maximum of 6-8 guests in one group and 3 or 4 vehicles. Kindly take note that Mankwe Campsites do not have electricity and guests are required to be 100 % self-sufficient.
Campsites are not fenced and wildlife, including big game like lion, elephant and buffalo, roam freely in the area.

Facilities

Campsites are equipped with bucket showers, flush toilets and washbasins in a pristine camping area.
Camping guests may enjoy the swimming pool, lounge, bar and dining area of the Main Lodge.
