Erindi Game Reserve

Erindi Private Game Reserve is situated 40 km east of Omaruru. Erindi Private Game Reserve is set on 71 000 ha of pristine wilderness with varied landscapes in a malaria-free area, from mountains to savannah to open grassland right in the heart of Namibia. The pure tranquillity, abundant wildlife and distant horizons with awesome sunsets will sweep you off your feet.

The Old Traders Lodge comprises the main dining room and viewing deck as well as 47 well-appointed suites.

Camp Elephant comprises 14 Luxury Self-Catering Chalets and 30 Campsites.

Accommodation

• Luxury Suites: The 30 Luxury Suites are ideally suited for views of the smaller waterhole, which is floodlit at night. Each suite has a veranda from which you can spot game or on which you can simply relax in private comfort, en-suite bathroom, a fully stocked minibar, a coffee station, a big-screen satellite TV, a safe and a hairdryer.

• Superior Suites: The 9 luxurious Superior Suites, each of which sleeps two guests, are situated on the dam wall, with a view over part of the dam. The large bathroom comes complete with bathrobe and slippers. Each suite is equipped with a big-screen satellite TV, a fully stocked mini bar, complimentary sherry, a coffee station, a safe, a hairdryer and a small library.

• VIP Suite: The large VIP Suite, which accommodates two guests, is situated on the dam wall with a view over part of the dam. The spacious bathroom, which has both bath and shower, comes equipped with bathrobes and slippers. The suite has its own private splash pool and outside shower, private deck and fireplace (not for braais). It’s stocked with complimentary wine and sherry, a mini bar, a coffee station, a safe and a hairdryer, and a small library.

• Livingstone Suite: The elegant Livingstone Suite, which accommodates two guests, is situated on the dam wall, with a view over the dam from its large deck area. The same view can be enjoyed from the bathroom, which has both bath and shower. The suite also has an outside shower, plus a private yard and splash pool. It’s equipped with a complimentary stocked mini bar and coffee station.

• Camp Elephant Self-Catering Chalets: 14 Luxury Self-Catering Chalets, each featuring 2 bedrooms (linen & towels provided) with 2 single beds each and a single bed sleeper couch in the open plan area. The rest of the chalet consists of a bathroom and an open plan lounge/dining area with a fully equipped kitchenette (fridge/freezer, 2 plate stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery & crockery for 6 guests). All chalets are equipped with a cool breeze (air-con) and satellite TV. The outside patio area features a built-in braai (barbecue) with a food preparation area and table/bench combo seating 6 guests. For your convenience a double shaded vehicle parking is located next to your chalet.

• Camp Elephant Campsite: 30 campsites. Each campsite has its own bathroom with a toilet, solar-heated shower and hand basin. Campsites also have individual kitchens, with a washing up and food-preparation area. Each campsite has its own vehicle awning and a braai with adjustable grid.
